At times, it shows its might, while at other times, it reveals places that have remained hidden under the surface for decades. These days are among those exceptional times. Historically low water levels in the Danube have caused stone slabs, river islets, gravel beaches, and remnants of old banks, which were long-hidden underwater, to appear in many sections. It is a unique natural phenomenon that doesn’t occur every year. And although the low water level has affected the navigation of some ships, the event ship Harmónia continues to set sail for panoramic cruises, allowing you to experience this exceptional view firsthand. The Danube as you have never seen it. Most visitors know the Danube as a majestic river with a calm surface and the panorama of Bratislava. This time, however, it shows a different face. In several places, gravel shores, stone formations, or parts of the riverbed, which are usually hidden several meters below the surface during ordinary years, have appeared.
